Geographic Overview
Gangnam (Korean: 강남; Hanja: 江南; lit. "South of the River") is a prominent region in Seoul located south of the Hangang River. Gangnam-daero Avenue connects Teheran-ro Road in the east to Jamsil and Sadang in the west, while Kyobo Tower Crossroad links the Express Terminal to Noryangjin and other western areas. Hannam-daegyo Avenue extends northward across the Hangang River, with southern routes leading to metropolitan areas like Seongnam, Yangjae, and Bundang.
